OVERVIEW:

A group of college students help their friend investigate the mysterious death of her grandfather. What they find is more than a mystery...

DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT:

"The Record" is my first short film as a director. In “The Record” I wanted to experiment with a point of view (POV) camera style. I find POV to be much more immersive than the more traditional cinematic styles and I drew upon the horror films “Paranormal Activity” and “REC” as inspiration. I believe that the most effective films bring us alive in strange worlds and I made “The Record” with this in mind.
