OVERVIEW:

Duke University filmmaker Nick Wiesner and music artist Dana Salah team up in their latest music video “Magic”. The video was made in Salah’s final year at Duke and plays on the theme of magic, luck, and enjoying life with a youthful carefree spirit before the responsibilities of adulthood kick in. Will Salah settle for the hand she is given or will she gamble her luck on the bright future that may await?

ABOUT DANA SALAH:

Dana Salah is a singer, songwriter and producer born in Amman, Jordan. During her years at Duke University, she was already writing and producing original songs such as “Magic”, which was made into a music video during her final year of school. After recently graduating, she is now settled in New York City where she continues to pursue her passion of original music production and composition.

ABOUT NICK WIESNER:

Growing up in Peru, Nick Wiesner’s interest in filmmaking evolved from his passion in still photography. His talents behind the camera were quickly noticed while he was a student at Duke University, for his work with fellow student and recording artist Mike Posner. Living in the same dorm as Posner, Wiesner recorded many of Posner’s first tracks and mix tapes, including “Halo”, and shot many of the artist’s live campus performances. Having graduated Duke in 2011, Wiesner now finds himself tackling New York City as he continues to pursue his passion for filmmaking.
